Meditation Training and Secondary Practices of the Dzogchen Community
The Course
This unique online program, made possible through the generosity of our teachers, will offer teachings and practices that benefit both newcomers and experienced practitioners. The program will span three modules from January to June 2025.
Each module is designed to provide essential practices that build the foundation of your practice.
Module 1: First Steps on the Path
Direct introduction is a seed, let’s nourish it to germinate!
This is a module mainly for newcomers to the Dzogchen teachings. Still, simple practices are also advanced practices and all practitioners, no matter their time in the community, can apply them every day, so all are welcome.
Combining explanation and practice, in this module you will learn essential practices that represent the base of your toolbox. It requires that you received Direct Introduction from Chogyal Namkhai Norbu or Namkhai Yeshi.
The sessions will include teachings and practices on:
Ati Guru Yoga
Shine meditation
Posture and breathing, the 9 Breathings for purifying the stale air
Tonglen, the Four Immeasurables
Learning and practicing the Song of Vajra
Discussion & Sharing space:
The Sangha App newcomers channel “First Steps on the Path” will always be available to ask questions, share materials, and interact with teachers and fellow practitioners.
