YANTRA YOGA - The Yoga of Movement

The balance of body and mind is crucial for our well-being. Even the ancients knew. Over the millennia, this understanding led to the emergence of diverse practices designed to benefit the individual as a whole. Yantra Yoga is one of the oldest systems of yoga from Tibet – a land of vast knowledge with a profound tradition of the teachings of Buddha. It consists of a unique series of positions and movements combined with conscious breathing that together coordinate and harmonize individual energy so that the mind can relax and find true balance. Yantra Yoga uses harmonious movements related to different aspects of breathing that help us become more aware of our body and control our breathing, one of the main means of coordinating vital energy (prana). Because our physical and mental well-being depends on the condition of our energy, it is fundamental for our energy to be balanced. In this way we can have a good physical condition and a calm, present, and relaxed mental state, the basis for deeper knowledge of ourselves.
Yantra Yoga On A Chair
Yantra Yoga On A Chair is of enormous benefit both to those with physical limitations, as well as those who live busy but sedentary lifestyles. Participants will coordinate breathing techniques with movements, while sitting in a chair, to gain flexibility and find a renewed sense of well-being in their daily lives.
Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal Yantra Yoga is a practice uniquely designed for pregnancy. The sequences were thoughtfully adapted by Laura Evangelisti, in collaboration with experienced midwives and insights from working with pregnant women, to match the physical and energetic needs of women during this time. Chögyal Namkhai Norbu later reviewed, approved, and encouraged the use of this important practice. Prenatal Yantra Yoga comprises 30 movements, including Yantras and pranayamas

Kumar Kumari

Yantra Yoga for Boys & Girls Kumar Kumari is a method of Yantra Yoga designed specifically for children between 5 and 12 years of age. It was conceived by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, who also wrote a book describing each of the movements in detail, taking into account the unique characteristics of children’s physical size, energy, and breathing.
